About Us

Our Mission: VOX: Voices for Planned Parenthood at UCF exists to educate the university community about reproductive health and rights, to translate increased awareness into pro-choice activism on campus, and to serve as a coalition partner to state, national, and international reproductive rights efforts. VOX is a pro-choice organization and believes that every woman and man have the right to make choices pertaining to their own bodies.

VOX UCF believes in the fundamental right of every individual to manage his or her own fertility. VOX supports full access to comprehensive reproductive and complementary health care services in settings that preserve and protect the essential privacy and rights of each individual; advocates public policies that guarantee these rights and ensure access to such services; and supports access to medically accurate educational programs that enhance understanding of human sexuality.

VOX is an on campus student organization which works to educate and mobilize students and youth in support of reproductive health and rights. VOX also organizes public events, educates peers, supports the local Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando health centers, and mobilizes students and other young people to speak out for reproductive rights and access to reproductive health services. Joining VOX is also a great way for UCF students to earn Service Learning credit if they are in a class which requires it.
